The work of MEPC is supported by foundations, through contract work with other nonprofit organizations and through the support of individuals. It also receives crucial support from the Hope Enterprise Corporation (HOPE). HOPE is a private, non-profit community development financial institution (CDFI) that provides small business loans, mortgage loans and technical assistance to support businesses, entrepreneurs, home buyers and community development projects. HOPE’s mission is to strengthen communities, build assets and improve lives of people in economically distressed areas of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Memphis, Tennessee.
Your donation supports the development and dissemination of research and analysis that advances public policies that provide pathways for economic opportunity among low-income individuals throughout Mississippi. You can donate in two ways:
- By going online to HOPE’s secure Network for Good website and typing in “Mississippi Economic Policy Center” under the designation box.
- Sending a check through the mail.
